Duval Asphalt is currently building its third asphalt production facility. With two plants producing asphalt in Jacksonville – one on the southside, located at 7544 Philips Hwy and the other on the northwest side, located at 6820 West 12th Street. Our third and newest plant will be located about 20 miles away in Green Cove Springs at 1921 Jersey Ave.
“Building a plant in Green Cove Springs allows us to better serve the counties surrounding Jacksonville like Clay, Putnam, St Johns and Flagler,” said Duval Asphalt’s Vice President Mitchell Gant. “This will expand our footprint further south, allowing us to offer asphalt services at a more competitive price. Not to mention providing a closer location for public works departments south of Jacksonville to pick up asphalt for road repair”
The plant sits upon 8 acres and has two silos, giving it the ability to produce multiple mixes. Duval Asphalt – Green Cove Springs is estimated to open in early Summer 2020.
