2020 Careathon, presented by Duval Asphalt: Thank you for your generosity!
$203,000 was raised for local pediatric cancer families, despite concerns surrounding COVID-19 and a drastically different format. With the partnership of all seven Cox Media Group radio stations in Jacksonville, and a week-long event, NE Florida stepped up in a huge way! DONATE: Give to the Child Cancer Fund of NE Florida
The Child Cancer Fund will use 100% of all proceeds from Careathon for financial assistance, mortgage payments, family support group events, tutoring and more.
Each year, approximately 115 local families receive a pediatric cancer diagnosis in the NE Florida area. Thanks to the generosity of many in our community, these families will be facing the journey ahead with support and care from untold numbers of donors in our community.

The 4th annual News 104.5 WOKV Care-a-thon presented by Duval Asphalt was an incredible success, with more than $250,000 raised to help the Child Cancer Fund continue providing emotional, educational, practical, and financial support to children who are battling cancer and their families. This goal could not have been reached without Jacksonville’s support!

Celebration Dream Center Basketball Court - June 2018
Duval Asphalt could not be more excited to have partnered with Bobby White, the Basketball Cop Foundation, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and Celebration Church to bring a brand new, regulation size, basketball court to the Celebration Dream Center right here in Jacksonville, FL. The Grand Opening Celebration was in early June!

A few months ago, we started planning a court renovation at Celebration Church’s Dream Center in Jacksonville FL. We started planning with a modest budget to renovate their existing court. Well…after receiving our largest in-kind donation to date from Duval Asphalt Products, Inc., our modest budgeted renovation has turned into a “Whatever it takes for the community” full blown court replacement!!! We broke ground today!!! We will be partnering with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on a huge Grand Opening Community Event in early June. Stay tuned!!!
