NAPA Diamond Quality Commendation

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) announced that Duval Asphalt’s Plant #1 (12th Street) and Plant #2 (Philips Hwy) are the first asphalt manufacturing facilities in the country to earn NAPA’s Diamond Quality Commendation. 
The Diamond Quality Commendation is a unique program that focuses on plant practices resulting in excellent product quality. Developed in 2009, the areas evaluated in the self-assessment process are RAP and Aggregate Handling, Asphalt Storage, Drying and Mixing, Air Quality, Truck Scales, Silos and Control Rooms. Earning the commendation highlights Duval Asphalt’s blueprint for excellence and places the company in the elite ranks of the asphalt paving industry. This standard of excellence is challenging, but can be accomplished with genuine dedication to responsible practices and continuous improvement.

 

 

NAPA Diamond Achievement Commendation

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) announced that Duval Asphalt’s Plant #1 (12th Street) and Plant #2 (Philips Hwy) have earned NAPA’s Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Hot Mix Asphalt Plant/Site Operations. The Diamond Achievement Commendation is a unique and respected self-assessment program that encourages and recognizes responsible hot mix asphalt (HMA) operation practices and cultivates good community relations. It is given to hot mix asphalt facilities that exemplify the spirit of quality and excellence in all aspects of their operations and strive to be integral, valuable, and respected neighbors within their communities. Companies are rated in appearance, operations, environmental, safety, permitting and compliance, and community relations.

NAPA Ecological Award

The National Asphalt Pavement Association's Ecological Awards recognize asphalt production facilities that best demonstrate safe and responsible environmental practices. Facilities are judged on their design layout, clean operation, maintenance performance practices, and community activities.

NAPA Quality in Construction Award

The National Asphalt Pavement Association’s Quality in Construction Awards enhance recognition of exemplary quality HMA paving throughout the United States. This award is presented to owners and contractors of all nominated projects which exhibit exemplary quality.
